08 preza
i want to put new cams and pistons in my 08 impreza any suggestions on witch kind to choose or does anyone have any experience with this motor....im saving money right now i have 500 saved up so money is kinda an issue. any help would much apperciated

You are likely going to need much more than $500, and if money is an issue I would suggest against it. Is there something wrong with the current motor?

what mods do you have done? both probably should be far from your first mods if that's what you're doing...
I'd do a tbe, fmic, turbo, injectors and some form of EM...start with those.

its a stock impreza it only has 5000 miles on it.....and there is nothing wrong with it..
not to make myself sound stupid but what is tbe fmi and em....i planned on putting on a turbo anyway i was just going to build the motor first is that a bad idea?
my over all goal is to evetually make it faster then my bike...
and i temperally live in el paso texas do to the fact that i joined the army if that has any influence on the parts i would need...

buying an impreza and wanting to turbo it and make it fast was the worst thing you could have done

the base impreza has no room for improvement, you obviously came from hondas which is why
1. you bought a base impreza
2. you think you can just stick a turbo on it
3. want to put cams in it
some problems
1. the base impreza is not a car to modify, it would be a total waste of money
2. the engines are completely different, its not just a wrx engine without a turbo
3. we have boxer engines, cams require removal of the engine because they are on the sides.
