Okay Throw Angle sensor was shop slang for the throttle position sensor. They "service advisor" was trying to blame my Subwoofer Power cable was "interfering" with the TPS... Because it was close to it. I raised the B.S flag right away, and went over there. My power cable is a shielded Monster cable and there was no exposed wiring on the cable or sensor...
I'll see what they say when i get a call back later.

Yea, The sensor that is attached to the gas pedal was bad, that is the TPS right? I get kinda confused with the electronic throttle system, because i haven't had to think about it until today. I pulled the slack of the power cable through the firwall grommet, and ziptied, "for now," the slack onto the insulated portion of my cold side A/C line. The sensor on the gas pedal was still bad. I re-seated the connector after they turned the car off, and he went to talk to his boss with a arm full of schematics in hand to explain what was going on. I really don't get it. The sensor had a steady voltage at idle, and when he tried going to WOT. I belive both the TPS, and this gas pedal sensor are both bad, if they are not the same thing, it was intermittent and it is possible the relay they replaced for it last time could have eaten the sensor by being open when it was not supposed to. Not to sound like i am an expert, but i work Avionics on the tankers at Macdill, and i have learned a thing or two about Electronic principles... After 7 years i was forced to learn something \
I still don't get my car back, they wanted to keep it overnight for more troubleshooting. I really hope they are not trying to pin some B.S excuse on me because that TPS, or "Throw angle sensor," is bad. I have to deploy very soon and don't have the time to fight S.O.A right now

FYI: I bought the car new, it's an 06 with 17K on the odo. I took it to reeves because that is where i bought it... enought rant.

The TPS is the "Throttle position sensor". Basicly it controls your throttle body plate to open and close when need be. usually if thats bad it will make your car idle weird, like rev on its on. maybe your evac could be bad! probably needs to be cleaned. Happened to me too.

okay, i see. TPS reads angle of throttle plate for feedback to ECU in conjunction with the sensor on the gas pedal that reads Fuel demand and it lets the ECU control the Bus to determine signal to TPS, then TPS sends the feedback to the ECU, like closed loop at that point right?
I'am sure there is more involved, like associted inputs to the ECU to the determine throttle plate angle along with the gas pedal angle sensor, but that is about it right? funny how a power cable could "interfere," inducing 12VDC into the gas pedal sensor, causing a demand for WOT. I understand what they are trying to say, but it's not like the power cable is hooked up to a bus bar, with the gas pedal sensor signal wire spliced onto it between it and the ECU. Weird. anyone have problems with there car going into limp home mode that have a sub in their car

im sure your sub power cable has nothing to do with it.

Yeah, I know. I just feel bad for people that they might tell that to, to get them to pay for the warranty work. It is a shame really.

absolutely DEMAND they make this right.. subwoofer cable is B.S. You could run unshielded cable and likely have no interference!!!! <--wouldn't advise it, tho

So they finally decided that my subwoofer cable isn't causing the issue... after i went there of course, and call today and decide they need to replace a ECU....... Wow.... Keep in mind i have never flashed this car at all. So I will see what happens next when the part comes in now
