Honestly I had a friend of mine un-marry his access port so I could try the stage 2 map on my Subie. I drove it for a few days (beat on it) but something was lacking.. I then un-married, and gave him (Jeff/Snowman) my car with a stock map. The only part I bought was a GM EBCS, and I haven't looked back. The main difference is that a access port uses the stock bleed boost control solenoid. This builds boost to your peak then tapers off. There is no holding boost (that's why it feels strong, then tapers off). With the tune I have a target range that it builds boost, and keeps it until I let off the throttle. I tried both, and I couldn't beat the price. As far as I know from speaking to him he doesn't tune access ports.
