Reviving a dead thread AGAIN because once again the above did NOT work. Well, after trying just about everything I had heard to eliminate the misfire and subsequent CEL, I finally decided to try the inevitable. I Replaced the aftermarket Perrin crank pulley with the stock pulley. As stupid and bizarre as it sounds, I finally got it this time. It's been almost 3 weeks and 3 tanks of gas with zero CEL's. I guess the RUMOR out there isnt really a RUMOR after all. Some cars with the lightened flywheel and lightened crank pulley will produce a misfire and a CEL.

So, you heard here as gospel. IT IS TRUE! Flywheel, pulley combinations can cause a CEL.

LD, this is for you. GO TO S&R for all your performance needs. (he told me this was the problem and if he was right I had to pimp S&R for him)
