is it possible to just do the deletes myself? i can machine and all that jazz so is it possible? and what would i need to do

its possible to do and many have done there own. just need some nice pics of how the look and a good write up. the hardest part seems to be taking them off

hack saw, carbide bit and a grinder, and a little know how is all you really need. there is a good write up over on nasioc in the 2.0 forum, you should be able to find it no problem.

I remeber a post awhile ago by 813 05 STi That i guess someone was doing them for $185 and it looked really good.

I'm in the process of doing this right now to an extra set using my dremmel, my drill and a file. It's not too bad, but if you have an extra set to mod makes it easier on you.

Also...
there are many ways to plug the holes, I ended up just tapping with a 3/8" -16 and JB Weld'ed 3/8" -16 setscrews in.

And...
Jeff Snizzow can turn off the CEL's for the TGV's. I've already had this done so when I swap the car won't go into limp mode.
