Default HOW TO: Area1320.com VF30/34/39 IWG bracket

I got this sweet bracket from the boys at Area1320 Subaru and turbo AWD installs and parts I promised them I'd write a review and how-to w/pics so here goes:

IWG Bracket

First remove the 3 8mm bolts from the wastegate mounting bracket and remove the c-clip from the flapper arm:

Now you can remove the internal wastegate actuator, I put this bolt in place so I won't lose it:

and put the c-clip back on the arm so you won't lose it either

Now install the IWG bracket onto the turbo, finger tighten the supplied 13mm bolt onto the bracket, then finger tighten the 2 factory 8mm bolts into the bracket.

Check everything one last time before the final sequence, tighten the 8mm bolts. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! tighten the 13mm LAST! Failiure to do so may cause the IWG to leak.

Stand back, have another cold one, and admire your handi-work

Then just run your favorite external wastegate:

well its about time for me to get my EvoIII. I talked to area1320 about doing a bracket for me for that turbo. They only do the VF30/34/39 brackets at the moment but Ill update if they start making them for the mitsu's.
