they are saying that when the storm gets level w/florida there will be a wind comming down blowing it east, so, we will see

upper level steering currents are def. more favorable to guid this bit## our way, but the critical element is the 'turn' once it emerges into the G.O.M.

i follow every storm thoroughly. this was always a passion of mine (wish i wouldve majored in meteorology/climatology in college!)

fingers crossed; plywood waiting; fridge full.


edit:: even though the waters in the GOM are down to 83°F, there is little/nothing in the way of stopping the intensity of this...

i predict, unfortunately, C4.... (no chance ofa C5 due to the lower temps)<---hopes

I hope so, hurricanes are fun and all but the damage isnt. there's nothing like driving through a major intersection and not realizing it

Yeah ese, I just moved into my new house, now its time to see how good the builders are, and/or how good my insurance is.

i had a new roof done last year (lost a fair amount of shingles from the storms).....

i think im warrantied (whatever that means) for 110mph on the shingles, and 150mph on the new garage door.....
