Im not going to be dumping it anytime soon. I guess I just need to get the feel of it at this point. I know what to do, its applying it that I have trouble with. Oh and to the guy who said that a 2.2 aint bad, my last car was an automatic Sentra SE-R that put down about 60-70hp less than this one to the wheels. I cut a 2.2 60' in that thing. I was hoping to do a bit better with more power and virtually unlimited traction.

Shut up .....The announcer thought it was even funnier!

I just find it kinda funny that I ran a 15.11 @ 101 and a 13.48 @ 101......goes to show ya how important the launch is!

I have seen quite a few brand new sti running 15's, it is all about the launch and learning how to drive the AWD right.

I'm heading to the track, Bithlo, tomorrow, first time since the turbo upgrade, hoping to have some fun....

But yeah man, find an empty street, and just start launching, the feeling of a great launch to the bogging is amazing. You just feel that car pulling like nothing is holding on to it.

First time I got a good launch I literally scared myself! I wasn't expecting it to pull that hard!

Welp. Just got back from Sunshine again tonight. 60's are getting better, but still not great. I was getting 2.1s mainly, and some 2.2s. My e/t and traps were shit though cause I was basically running the car back to back to back with no real breaks. It was definitely heat soaked. I think I need to ride with someone at track day this saturday to get a feel for how they launch, and then try to duplicate it cause Ive just run out of ideas.

I start engaging the clutch at 5000RPM give or take a couple hundred. Im blipping from 4-5k before that, then I floor it and slip.

Sounds like you need to rev higher/slip quicker.
