I vote no. The wing, while a little much, is part of what an STi is, aggressive.

 

I say go wingless, paint the rims black, and put a reverse hood scoop. That would look nice.

 

Faded, you are already a sleeper bro. Why change the STi wing? That will just make people who usually beat or hang with WRX's race you. When you have the STi wing and exterior , the people who race you are either very slow and just want to see hoe fast an STi is or they are fast and are used to beating up on STi's. So, in actuality you are already a sleeper to the ones that matter( people who have raced and beaten STi's) because of your mods.

I definetely say +1 on painting the rims black though!

You bought an STI becuase its a STI and not a stock WRX, who are you trying to sleeper from??? A honda civic who you could handle in the STi in stock form?

I am of the camp that never got the sleeper thing unless you had something real sleeper, like a minivan, station wagon or the sorts.

The STI looks like turd without its wing IMO (which of course is just my opinion, but exactly what you asked for)

I am a huge opponent of Wingless/debadging. Do you buy a ferrari or porsche and take the badges off? HECK NO, be proud of what you have.
