mah paint!!!
Well yesterday I pulled into the garage and my sister had moved her bike over a little. Need less to say I rubbed the tire causing the bike to fall on my car. So my question is what is the best way to minimize the appearance of this scratch? will just waxing work and if so what is best?

You might want to ignore the above comments about wet sanding until you figure out the extent of the damage. If the scratching is minor (ie: not down to the primer or bare metal) then a polishing compound will get it out easily enough. There are quite a few polishes on the market that can be applied by hand and yield good results. If you have access to an orbital buffer then the job becomes even easier. Now if the scratching is major (ie: down to the primer or bare metal) no amount of polishing compound is going to help you. You'll need to grab some touch up paint and fill the scratches. Then you'll need to go ahead and wet sand the paint flat and finish up with a polish, buff, and wax. If you're going to do this yourself I'd suggest reading up on the following site: www.autopia.org
