Damn, I was gettting 2.2, 2.1 60' times with a bad clutch and running 14.0, 13.9 and 14.1.
That same night 3 Sti's were running and 2 more WRX's. One WRX was running 13.6 all night, the other had a best of 14.0. The STi's were running mid 14's. I think it's a lot of new owners that need to learn how to drive the car.

13.0 Sti here. But with that said the only stock STi's running 13.2 are in the mags or in colder climates. That's been my experience any way.
I think the most 1/4 mile drag unfriendly part of the car is the extra shift to fifth gear in the last 100 ft of the 1320 that the 6mt requires. I have wanted to see what the result would be of not shifting that last bit and just let the rev limiter do its job.
Seems like a 200 rpm drop a couple times would be far less detrimental to time and speed than the big drop that last shift requires.
