Up-pipe for dummies

Anybody running a non flex uppipe and not having any problems? Will i need a CEL fix for an uppipe?

i haven't researched up-pipes in quite some time, did mine two novembers ago. From what i've heard though, it doesn't matter whether you are running with a flex or not as far as a cel is concerned. I believe the up-pipe cel occurs if your up-pipe doesn't have a bung for the stock EGT sensor. If you are still interested in the helix, i can tell you from experience that you will only need a CEL Eliminator for the dp, since the helix has a bung for the stock sensor. I ended up having an extra CEL because i broke my 1st 02 sensor (the one in the header) while doing my install. If this happens to you, do not buy an OEM one! I'm an idiot. Just wear the CEL until you can afford an AEM UEGO, your gonna want one later on anywayz. Hope this helps.
