wrx speakers
I found a company that makes adapters to help fit small-medium magnet speakers in the front. I can't recall the website but I found purchasing information on http://www.imprezawrxsti.com The kit also includes other things to help the install such OEM location tweater mounting bracket.
You'll be really hard pressed finding speakers that fit the front. It was a very-very tight fit on my '04 STi using mid-range Bostons (Rally Series) even with spacers.

I found a site that has adapters that allow you to upgrade to bigger speakers in the front and rear. You can go up to a 6" up front, and like a 5 1/4" in the rears. They even give a list of like every brand that will or will not fit. I'll dig it up and post it.

i can tell you this, however, the kenwood 7015 headunit (am/fm/sirius/cd/dvd touchscreen, with optional remote mounted nav dvd w/voice) looks and fits better than the stock H/U (imo)
