ecutek- reflash everytime u want to tune, not a lot of people can tune it
utec- tune on the fly

bottomline, ive seen faster cars on utec then ecutek, by seconds

but the utec is aussy and the ecutek is british and I thought all the fastest WRX's were from down under

Maybe I should put out a list of the people that had us yank the UTEC and install ECUTEK.

There are plenty of fast cars around that have ECUTEK.

This can go on forever

or you can get the UTEC and have someone local tune it that has one of the fastest WRXs in the country. If it was me I would look to see what the cars making the most power are using and it certainly isn't with ECUTEK.

ucutek- u have to reflash everytime-pain in the ass- and who does that now
utec- plug and play

now which one u want to have!!!! end of argument fockers!!!

I would have gone with ecutek if someone local still sold them, but since no one does I had to find something else. Plus I like the extra features that the utec offers like multiple maps w/ remote switching. Didn't mastro tune a car with more or less the same set up as billy only he was running a utec and ended up making more power? Im not saying the ecutek isn't a good piece, and I dont think one is miles ahead of the other, in the end it all comes down to who can tune them better
