Coming up with the $400 in one pop for the Cobb only will be tricky for me, so the additional 100-200 more bucks would probably be a big problem, but i totally see where you are coming from. Your ET's are fuggin incredible. What kind of kit are you running, just a simple wet kit?

i had a s-afc and it sucked for the money. not any good gains at all. just refer to mark or sam they know. plus i paid 300 for the safc and u might get like 2% horsepower increase-tested by street tuner.

i remember reading about how piggybacks don't work well with the subie ecu a long time ago, but i didn't think it would be that bad. I just assumed that since the car is running rich as hell, leaning it out and turning up the boost like 2psi on the dyno would give me some decent gains.
So a generic Cobb ECU reflash is your suggestion for my situation then?

Default Piggybacks

Stay away from the piggybacks. They work fine at first but the ecu and piggyback are constantly fighting each other. The ecu will win in the end and any performance out of the piggyback will be negligable. Usually, you have the reset the ecu for the piggyback to regain its performance capabilities, this can get old after awhile.

Depends on who you ask. We have many happy people who have Ecutek (in fact one of them is in this tread).

Ive heard more people call me and tell me what trash UTEC is.
