exactly

well....for one thing there aren't 4 million subarus running around....everyone and there mom has a honduh...so therefore aftermarket parts will be hella cheap cuz there's a demand. if you don't like paying that much...do yourself and everyone else a favor...don't buy a subaru. ever seen a porsche aftermarket catalog...you'd think those people are nuts for paying out the ass for a flyhwheel, clutch, exhaust, etc. but then...a porsche is a pretty expensive car and the aftermarket reflects that.

Pretty cool setup. How much boost were you running and and what were the power numbers? Were you recirculation the BOV discharge 100%? Didn't hear anything in the vids.

As a tiny part of that aftermarket, I can say that it is definitely pricey. That being said, I'd rather charge more/pay more than run with NO margins and try to make it up on volume, a la the Honda scene. When you think about it, upgrading most turbo cars is expensive, due to all the complications brought about by forced induction.

Stop talking bad about the Scoobs Zate. We're gonna have words if you keep this up.

supply and demand. we're a bunch of speed happy young men (mostly) with lots of disposable income, and we're WILLING to buy the parts for more, therefore the parts companies are willing to sell them to us at high prices. hondas and older cars are cheaper to put parts on because different demographics with less disposable income buy those cars.
