At any rate Z28ricer you keep saying how its onlyyy $1500 for a LT1 swap, but you forget to mention how much itll be for mounts, driveshaft, wiring harness, etc.... he only has $1500 total to spend he stated so thats really outa his price range in the first place.
Its going to be $$ for swap parts no matter the engine, however it helps to know what else is available, and why it would be a better choice, especially if he was planning to turbo it, etc.
Thats good that you arent telling anyone to put an SR20 into a corvette, generally it is a good idea to swap to something that is better, not take steps backwards, but thanks for the idea.
He also didnt start saying i've got X amount to spend, what can I do, he posted that he's got $1500 to work with quite a few posts after the original,
As far as getting the engine in, mounts, driveshaft, and wiring harness are not going to end up costing any different between an LT1 or KA.
