For you guys just saying its Impossible to be FWD just by the way it sits in the engine bay, look at the way the engine sits in a Acura Legend. It also sits in line like if it was RWD but its FWD. Not all FWD cars have their engines transversely mounted. Hell a 3sgte sits in at about a 60* instead of a flat 90*, axles wouldn't be a problem. lol

im saying.. i KNOW its a RWD... want me to take pics of the diff.. lol

the reason many of us came on to this forum that have a low post count in this thread was to warn you guys because this guy has no idea what he owns or is selling.
I'm sure by now he's had the brains to either look under the car and realized either:
possibility 1. he saw the rack and pinon boots and his lack of knowledge led him to believe it's fwd. And and now has seen the rear axle and is just trying to save face because he's a ricer of the worst sort (the kind that think they are racers and know nothing about cars).
possibility 2. He saw that one person was interested and when the "you cant handle RWD" comment came up he said anything to sell it.
possibility 3. He doesn't even own the car and it's a scam to get your cash somehow. so he has nothing to lose lieing his a$$ off.
on a side note these are really fun cars guys. Someone buy it because he doesn't deserve it.
Just be careful to check it out thoroughly. If you hear valve train noise insist he takes the valve cover off and take a look at the timing chain guides their a normal issue with the R series engine and if they come loose the chain WILL eat a hole in the back side of the water pump and drain coolant into your oil. I learned the hard way. I adjusted the valves 5 times and couldn't get rid of the noise but still drove it and payed dearly for it.

Dude that sucks... that doesn't sound so bullet proof for the 22r lol. S series engine, if the timing belt snaps. Just call a tow truck and ask him to stop by Toyota to buy a new belt. Non Interference motor FTW!

You sure about that? I coulda swore our timing belt book at work has the 5s listed as an interference motor

I'm sure. I just googled it. The pistons have little depressions in them so if it does break, they won't crash into the valves. Same thing for the 3sgte.
