again, not trying to bash your thread, i actually opened it to look into buying your car, and i am no kid fyi. but with your attitude i dont think you are a good one to deal with,, you and your butt buddies can talk as much as you want about me and my work but it pays the bills for the shop that i own.

im glad you have a shop. its good to do something you like to do, i like working on cars and its annoying when someone that has no idea about the blood sweat and tears put inti this car to hve some random guy pick and poke at it, just how you dont like us talking ba dabout yur car. were all into cars are share something in common and all of us know how much effort it takes to accomlish certain tings. im sure your a nice guy but just got off on the wrong foot.. please no more negative from you and ill do the same back to you, thanks nathan

first off it does not break when you re-inforce it,
with that aside, like i said on page 3 that i was not bashing your thread i was actually interested, i was just wondering why you put the time into the conversion instead of motor, my feeling is you would get more cash with it being a stronger engine and drive train then cosmetic stuff, sorry i pissed off the nissan people,.................

and i hope that the "go to the honda forum" was ment to be funny, i like my MITSUBISHI but i own and work on all kinds.

yes it was a joke. and i dont like puting time into something to create something you can go to qsl and see. so i got the opportunity to buy an empty clip so i jumped on it. then it was rhd with a ka, then i found a FULL chasis harnees from 180sx and air and heat boxes so i bought them and in stalled. then i bought a red top for the car and sold it literally the day i got her running for 5,500. i told the kid oil changes were vital being a freshly imported motor and who knows how long it was in a jdm junk ard, oil changes he did not do and bam spun bearing. so i bought the car back for way less cash of course. by now i owned a jdm 1993.5 supra and i was in the middle of doing a tt swap (it was n/a 5 speed) and i had a spare 2jz-gte laying around and i traded it for the black top. this 240 i built to slide and not to do high way pulls, anyone can drive fast in a straight line. so high horsepower was not needed, so i did full suspension welded diff aluminum driveshaft and 6 puk un sprung clutch and its now a drift queen. as for having a fast car thats why i have the supra and im about to do a single turbo conversion to it..... my 240/180/whatever you wanna call it is a solid car and is definatly worth the money and will definatly e on the streets still years from now if no one crashes it. i wanted a realiable stockish motor that would take some abuse and still drive home at the end of the day. and i dunno how many times i se people open their car doors into other cars and they dont care one bit and because of the i was saving the paint as the last step of the build of this car. i hate to see it go but thats part of the game im building my supra now and i cant let my 240 (my first car i built completely myself by working at walgreens) sit in my driveway collecting leaves and dirt. its not painted but i took excellent care of ths car and hope she finds a good home to someone who will take pride in it as i do
