I agree, I'd go for a minimum of 2500 though if you aren't going to be doing any work on this swap (wich is what it looks like , and most people here would hope, wouldn't be nice to see a ruined/screwed up expensive engine swap , but then again it's your money).Although I definetely would not recommend the SR20 swap to you, you seem to be neglegent when it comes to maintnence, and SR's do not like this. My best advice to you is , just keep saving(loans/credit cards suck the life out of many souls) , and be more attentive to your maintnence in the future.
