I have about 5.5k to spend, give or take a few. I don't think you can get many new cars for that. Plus I've loved the 2nd Eclipse since I was a little kid. .

maybe not but it can get you a badass new car with a small payment! If you really have your mind set on the DSM, go buy a chiltons or Haynes manual for one and start reading. If your not lucky enough to find one it perfect condition you will have a new car by the time your done with it

Well could anyone point me in the right direction of what I'm looking for? And as far as being backed by a shop goes...After I find a car, I'll certainly take you guys' word on that topic.

People like me? Fuck yourseself.

I was only telling him to be ready to wrench on his own car. I bought my first DSM (galant vr4 1667/2000) when I was 16 and I went from not knowing jack shit about cars to replacing a turbo with in the first month of owning it. It brought me into the DSM community which used to be filled with cool people. Back then everyone local was always willing to help out and be friendly now all people do is bitch.

Again fuck what everyone has said, I would look for a nice stock/stockish auto 2g and have it looked over. They can be reliable, the only reason they are not is becasue people like to rag the fuck out of them, when they dont know what they are doing.

I'd also like you to find me a bank that will loan a 16 year old kid money for a new car, w/o raping him with interest.

mine is backed by brotherz racing....the most knowledgable guys when it comes to mitsu's and dsm's....and i was serious about teaching you how to drive stick...it'll take an hour or two if that...and in the long run you're gonna be glad you got yourself a manual over an auto dsm...and we can negotiate the price a little for the car so that way you still have some money in your pocket

go fuck myself, man your an child with a serious attitude problem. You are in the wrong face it. Not everyone wants to be a mechanic, and not everyone wants to constantly turn wrenches to make sure they get to work everyday

Sorry you grew up in an orphanage but most others have parents and or family to help them with financial aspects of making big purchases.

Damn Fernando, I wish there was someone like you around when I was looking for one. With the exception of the Civic I will only have new cars for now on, well unless its a Honda. I'm feeling that new Camaro for my B-day in 09 though

You're right, I am glad you know so much about me and my way of life. [/sarcasm] it is people like you that has ruined the DSM scene. kthx.

If you would like to continue this further, which I would rather not, feel free to PM me and keep it out of this kid's thread.

Also another piece of advice would be to wait for the right car, don't jump at the first one that might happen to pop up. Take your time when looking for the car.

Your so childish, and already making the thread about you when its clearly about someone else that your giving bad advise to. Not that I know so much about you but I'm now learning alot. Stop with your cry out for attention before I get my Violen out and stay off this thread unless you have something useful to say.

Also saying that I ruined the scene Let me guess and your bringing sexy back since you own Mitsubishi's first DSM [/sarcasm] Grow up
