Hey tr, i finally finish my ls-vtec swap and droped it in my ek hatch. Everything is connected it's on a p28. Single cam harness. Also built in internals for high compression. I turn it on, but won't rev more than 2k sadly idk wat to do injectors are working perfect also all the sensors, tps,map,ect.
I notice it rev redline wen i use starting fluid but with just normal it won't pass 2k rpm. Please help!

Note: My most accurate guess might be the wiring harness since it's from a d-series.
If so i wtb b-series harness that would work with my ls-vtec

 

is the p28 chipped? any cels? possibly your tps sensor, try swapping throttle bodies.

 

check where the harness plugs into the ecu move wires around mine used to do the same ....or if not might be the ecu seems kinda like in limp mode

 

You may have a fuel sending issue, check or replace fuel pump. I would'nt rev it to redline with starting fluid if I were you.

Already check TPS and already switch trottles bought a skunk 2 70mm

 

probly, in limp mode I es reading a tread about the same ecu but didn't understand quite. If it is on limp mode what should be done ? The ecu works fine, because I tryed it on another civic and it rev successfuly but in mines won't pass 2k

 

That's what I thought at first that not enough fuel was coming in, but the pressure on the fuel has pretty good force. I also been thinkin if the distributor is bad but i bought it brand new and the car starts fine it just dosent rev pass 2k
