From an outsider know one can really say anything. Sounds like you should just give him the money and take the loss. End it there, and I also commend you for coming on here and speaking your words. I don't think there is really any reason to beat someone up over this, as this is not high school. I was ripped by Slow Boy Racing and as much as I tried there is nothing they will do to give me my money back.
I say do this like two adults and work it out with out anyone beating anyone up. Even $200 in not worth jail time. But I am still on the side of saying just give him his money back and the p28 and call it a day. That is not a big amount of money and everyone can just forget about it and move on. Maybe Cj can take down the sig so the new people don't see this.

I didnt do you harness, I told you that the O2 wire was hacked and U didnt know who did it. I cut it, did it right shrunk wraped it, and that was it. Soo now the storie changes that I didnt cook the ECU.. but that was the whole reason for this.. My name was drug threw the mud for weeks, I was going to let you go with the SIG, but now you wanna call it out. So call it... Give me proof... Show me, were I re-wired?? I went to crome, and called you, told you that your ECU was broke, I would try and fix it. in the mean time we were using another spare ECU untill the Hondata ECU was fixed "thus a Temp fix" Like I said. all this could of been avoided if you called me and said"Look john, you think you can just give me my money back, and a new ECU?" I would of jumped at the chance to do so. but you took it somewere it didnt need to go.

I am almost at the point of giving up on trying to mediate this disagreement.
There are too many variables & nobody is willing to accept any kind of blame.
I as a tuner know what it is like to have some one blame you for something that has NOTHING to do with you what so ever.
Example:
A customer with a built b16 contacted me for dyno tuning, I setup the appointtment per his request.
I started to tune the car, & after the first run I new there was a problem with the motor due to the fact that it was making less power then a completely stock b16 with 120,000 miles on it...
I informed the customer of the issue & told him I felt we should pull the car off the dyno if the motor did not wake up after I targeted the proper a/f ratios.
The customer told me he wanted me to continue so I did.
After 1.5 hours on the dyno of making fuel/timing/vtec activation point changes I told the customer that I felt I should take the car off the dyno due to the fact that the motor was not making the power it should & I felt that the problem needed to be resolved off the dyno so he was not paying $200 per hour to troubleshoot the missing power...
The customer agreed. A few months later I hear from the customer, he tells me that 3 days after the tune. The motor had PISTON TO VALVE contact & that his motor was destroyed. KEEP IN MIND I DID NOT TOUCH THE CAM GEARS due to the fact that I felt it was a waste of time & money for him to have me touch the cam timing on the dyno!!!
The customer was blaming me for physical piston to valve contact which is physically impossible for me to have caused.
There you go, now you know how stupid people can be, hence my skepticism towards this thread.
Furthermore, I have seen people blame there tuners because they have messed with there cars after the car was perfectly tuned...
I.e. A black s2000 turbo setup that (Won't say who) tuned, the customer brings the car to me with a manual boost controller which was improperly installed by the customer.
The car was hitting 30 psi of boost due to the wastegate not opening...
Is this (Won't say who's) fault ? No... However, (Won't say who) did not set a boost cut which I felt was a mistake on his part.

U say U tried to call, but you didnt say after U did it the wrong way. remember I tried to talk to you after, but U didnt want to hear anything I had to say..
And Dave I have nothing to say to you, get out of this post. U called me that dyno morning to tell me all was Ok and U would be there. I had racerelated come in on his needed day off because U begged me to do it that saturday.. but time didnt allow it. Only until I drove over 1hr to meet U did U say U got a ticket. I never forced U. I said I didnt want to look like an ass in front of the dyno owner, and I would tune your car FOR FREE!!! if you paid 4 the dyno.. The RSX is a customers/its getting a new snail and I was taking the ride in it to finish a tune.. Thats none of your buisness??
Funny U never PM'ed me when your motor blew. but if it did, then fuck, its the 1st car that has poped after a tune by me...

I dont want to get too involved, I just want to make sure nobody is getting blamed for something that is not there fault as I have never seen an ecu go bad due to some one simply tuning a car.
What kind of wiring did John Solero do to the car ?
What was burnt on the ecu ? (Pics ??)

SOLERO, why do i have to stoop to this childish level to get you to respond? give me what is mine. give me my money and ecu. be a MAN and square shit up. i never thought i would see the day to where i was on the verge of hitting you. it bothered me cause you were cool man. the car was under your name for roughly 2 months and in those 2 months it ran maybe 3 days. at race related i told you to pay me and replace the ecu and i even gave you a week. i didnt let you talk because i was done hearing your shit. nothing you say will fix this. paying me back will

dude you never said anything about a hacked o2. you did somethnig to fry it. you cut slpiced and added a green wire in the jumper harness. dont deny it. i did tel lyou i wanted my money back and ecu. you said you would do it. you didnt so i had to call you out like this. PAY ME BACK. dont screw your name more than you already have. you call yourself a business man, then do your so called business right and PAY ME BACK AND REPLACE THE ECU LIKE I ASKED FOR MORE THAN 10 TIMES. you can end this man. no one else can. pay me back and end the drama
