incorrect mahle gold pistons and some forged rods they are good to go. FRM sleeves are very stong

 

^Actually man they're pretty good but not super strong they can hold up pretty nice on lower boost. Definetly recommending sleeves for high boost. Have Eagle Rods with Mahle golds....oh so nice.

Multiple compression tests since converting to forced induction.

Constant monitoring during dyno shared_session and street driving to ensure all vital compnents are properly tuned for this much power

so why didnt he go with aftermarket rods already?

 

cause the motor is stock, they havent opened it up. i love how everyone jumps on the bandwagon of the weak links of the h22. with a proper tune they are a lot stronger then what people think. so until something happens to this motor i would believe that they are going to leave it alone and push the limits of the stock long block. good old saying if it isn't broke don't fix it.

We have other engines we are in the process of building. This one was in the car and it had stock bottom end.

If it aint broke dont fix
