Yesterday we took the hatch out to lunch. A guy in a brand new XLR-V rolls up on us thinking his 100K caddy was untouchable. 
Long story short... Hes probably at the dealer now getting his car looked at bc he thinks its down on power

Anything stock is a ticking time bomb with 300+whp ...
Its the rods in worried about. If anything goes it will be the wimpy stock Honda rods ftl.

you have nothing to worry about when it comes to rods. i have seen several h22's go mid 400's on stock rods with mahle gold pistons. before the rods took a shit and the rods had not had a easy life at that. and the sleeves are exceptionaly strong, they just happen to be made out of a material that doesnt like forged pistons. now the ring lands those are a different story they are weak as FUCK. but to be honest with a good tune like im sure it has i doubt there is anything to worry about.
when is the nscra event? i dont know what class i would run my car in or if i would be competitive but i would try. lol
