Its a pin to fit....to get mine to clear, I cut coming out of the header and rolled the turbo toward the fender, had to cut the apron and the downpipe was going to go out the apron and over the tire. I sold all of that and just going to build a set of flipped shorties
This was the 76...it was easier, (trying to work with prefabbed headers to roll it a little further into the inner fender so there wasnt big issues with the down pipe

yea it was a pain in the ass i didnt want to cut on the car and we already cut on the headers and they still didnt fit.so we took my motor mount cut the top piece off and used a piece of 1/4 steel and move the top plate over 1/2 toward the driver side.it took about 4 days but we now have ii in the car where is all clears.now its just comes down to time getting it all together.

also it sucks because moving it over a 1/2 inch the damn valve cover now hit the brake booster so i had to get diffrent valve covers

You moved the motor over a half inch toward the booster?

my buddy mario came up with it.all we did was cut the top of the motor mount off and used some 1/4 steel i got from lowes drilled it and welded it up and it moved it just enough to clear the header from hitting on the passenger side and moved it just enough that it didnt throw the tranny to far out of the way.looking at the mounts after i painted them you can even tell they were ever cut

the way we had it a few days ago it cleared but it made the motor sit to high and the turbo was hitting the hood.

even tho it moved the motor over a 1/2 all we had to do was relocate the proportioning valve and its all good
