Hey if you guys ever want a hand doing this stuff Im free on the weekends. Ive been itchin to work on some cars.

 

well you might have a chance to swing by then.

we cranked it up today. sounded really nice for like the first 10 minutes and after that we started to get a mistery noise. didnt have time to mess with it after that but she's in and starting so yeah.

 

yea, she is starting we have a weird noise goin on but its all good.

 

Did you put oil in it?

What cam are you running in it? That noise aint the pistons hittin the valves is it? d'oh!

 

no its still a stock cam.

 

also failed to mention that i got my ass fried yesterday. when we were setting the dizzy i had my arm resting on the alt. and still had my had on the metal part of the dizzy and when jeff tapped the start button to drop in the dizzy i felt a tiny shock. lol the screw driver that was in my pocket ended up about 10 feet away from me lol.

 

seeing that the motor is throwing a hissy fit im thinking i should take this down time as a chance to pull the dash and carpet and stuff out to see if there is any more rust that i dont know about.

well the pos will not be ready for the meet. and its about to get a custome flame job using gas and maybe a propane tank.
