So I've been pondering going with a radical engine setback. Like all the way behind the K-member and rack into the existing firewall.
I think that along with the radiator in the trunk would even out the weight and make the car handle the corners much better.
So much for a budget build!

only one thing comes to mind when i see that picture.. PMCS.. god i hate that crap.. but it's good things are moving along.. you have a lot of great ideas.. i hope you get them all together!

 

let me know when you want to meet up for all the aircraft bolts and screws i have, the cannon plugs are a little tricky to come across. I found a bulkhead cannonplug that would be perfect for what you want. It'll have to be a "if i come across it" kinda thing, but i didnt forget you man.

 

Yeah me too, this is getting a little radical on the ideas and my sawzall is waiting to cut the firewall out.

I had inspiration when I went to the MOSI Mustang car show last month and saw nothing down and dirty or really original. I mean there were some nice cars, but it was like going to every other car show I've been to since 1990. Plus no BBF Fox to be seen, WTF?

That white Fox above really stood out at the Fantasy Of Flight show since it was all custom and radical.
