I got the valve cover and tube back from the welder yesterday afternoon..... Today I put the hole in the valve cover for the breather and put it on the car..... I forgot about the boost reference line for the FPR, so I'll have to order the fittings for that..... Also put the tube on along with the blow-off valve/line, waste gate line..... I forgot about the boost reference line for the FPR, so I'l have to order the fittings for that..... I mounted the MSD/MAP sensor and did all the under hood wiring for it.....

Tomorrow I need to get the dist together and see how the plug wires fit, they were on the old combo which had the early firing order..... So I need to rearrange them and see if they will work for the HO firing order, we shall see.....

Pic's from today's progress.....

I put some oil in it first thing this morning and primmed the oil pump, pressure looks good..... Then I rebuilt my Ford Duraspsrk Dist and installed it(new pick-up coil, reluctor, removed the vacuum advance and locked out the mecnanical advance)..... The I rearranged the plug wires for the HO firing order, and was able to get them to work without having to cut or modify any of them..... Also put the air filter on..... I just ordered my wideband, the last piece of the puzzle so I can get it running..... Once it gets here I can put it in and finish up the wiring under the dash again.....

Pic's.....

Frank, your coupe looks awesome. I like how you dressed all of your wiring with zip ties. It reminds me a lot of when I used to bundle all of the cabling for building communications equipment in cell towers.
Sounds like you will be firing it up soon. Good luck with the first fire!

I made an aluminum piece that bolts in place of the console, I made it back when I had a job I had access to sheers, brake presses and suck to aid in the manuplation of sheet metal.....

Tore apart most of the dash today so I could do some wiring..... Got alot of the wiring rearranged..... The O2 alert will be here tomorrow along with the rest of the fittings I need to make the boost reference line for the FPR..... I'll have to make a mount for the wideband, finish wiring, put the dash back together, put the pass seat back in and make the reference line..... Then it should be ready to start.....

I hate to see it but here's some pic's of the dash apart for wiring.....
