I messed around with that bracket for a couple hours today and just was not happy with how the down pipe would be routed, so I ditched that somebitch.....

I am going to just mount the turbo on the driver side header instead..... This will make everything work out for the best..... I got started on building the driver side header, so I atleast think I made some progress today..... The front 2 tubes are tacked into the header flange and welded to the collector star I made..... It was also a pain getting the tube squared up to fit the header flange properly..... I am going to try and get the rest of the ds header done tomorrow.....

Here's what I did today.....

Thanks.....

All four tubes are now in the DS header and it is completely welded..... It just needs a collector put on it now...... But after I welded the tubes to the inside of the flange I bollted it back up to the head and welded the outside top and bottom, then I leaft it bolted up so it could cool completely too pretvent warping.....

Here's a few pic's of todays progress.....

Thanks.....

It's a 302 windsor.....

The flange didn't warp at all..... I cleaned up the weld in all the openings of the flange and the four tubes where the collector goes..... Then I fitted the collector and welded to the header..... The next thing I did was fit the turbo flange to a piece of 3" pipe, and weld it inside and out..... After welding it I bolted it the the turbine housing while still hot to prevent it from warping.....

Progress pic's.....
