My buildup progress.
Picked the car up today
and blew out my back.
I am very happy with Williams work yet again. This guy suprises the shit out of me with everything he seems to do with my car. I have to post his info since it is rare to find a shop/business that does what they say, does super quality work at a very reasonable price. Bodley Racing and Fabrication - (727) 446-1210 bodleyracing@verizon.net
Here is a list of what he did:
The cage (rear portion, he will finish the rest later after I get the seats and clear out some room under the dash)

The mini-tubs

The rear suspension
This pic looks like things are crooked but it's just the angle of the camera

This is how it sits now. He had to raise the height up about 3/4" due to the driveshaft to tunnel clearance. I will have to sit the motor and tranny in to see how it looks and go from there. He may need to make a little room if I want to sit the car down lower.

Here is a list of what he did:
- Fabricated and installed the rear portion of the cage in chrom-moly
- Custom fit the Double UPR anti-roll bar (I have to get better pics of it)
- Fitted full mini-tubs and notched the frame rail
- Mounted the upper bar and lower brackets for the rear coilovers
- Awesome tin work
- Lots of work that I'm not even sure how to label

Thanks y'all!
I think I'm going to try and get the spacer cut down some so the intake doesn't sit as high. I mean it sits high anyway, but I think without having the valve covers on and fuel rails it just makes it look that much taller.
Edit: added a pic on the engine bay with valve covers to see if it would make the intake not look as big.

Thanks man! It is a good feeling and scary too. I've always wanted to build this and it's now happening, even tho I was starting to think that it never would. I still got a long way to go, but it's starting to shape up.
Great giant hood needed Batman. Do not cut a thing... How far will the intake piping go and what sort of hood did you have in mind?
BTW the car is looking great. Might want to talk about a chute when you go back for the rest of the cage. That T-76 will take you well into the 9's.
Do not forget the diaper on the driver mod when you take it to the track. JFWY!

(note to self: grab some xxxl Pull Ups!)
I have a 4" cowl atm and it doesn't look like it's gonna clear. I still need to bolt up the tranny to see how everything will truely sit. Also, I will be running a Fox style tb, so I'll have to see about getting some piping fabbed up to fit. I'll wait on that tho, I think I'll be going with a different turbo.
As for the 9s, I've seen people do it, and everyone says it "should" do it, but honestly, I'll just be happy when it's running and if it does eventually go nines that will just be icing on the cake!
