Basic Turbo Integra Build
Basic Turbo Integra Build (PICS ADDED)
A few months ago I picked up my second Integra and decided to go turbo with this one. I have never dealt with forced induction (with exception of a short stint with a stock gsx dsm).
Anyway, for the past few months I have been slowly piecing a kit together trying to get great deals. Clearly it takes much longer this way but money is tight. However, even with money tight I am trying to get quality parts. I still have a little ways to go...but gotta wait for those killer deals!
Just wanna get some input on my setup so far. Maybe some suggestions or criticism. Goal is to be a weekend/nice day car with roughly 260-290whp.
Below is what I have so far:
Walbro 195lph fuel pump
DSM 450cc injectors with resistor box (already had from gsx...plan to upgrade eventually)
Go-Autoworks mini ram manifold
Turbosmart 38mm wastegate
Greddy BOV
Open dumptube
Godspeed FMIC with piping
Apexi turbo timer (already had)
Hallman MBC
Plan to get:
Socketed p75 obd1 ecu with conversion harness from phearable (running crome)
SS oil feed/return line
2.5" dp with turn down
Blox afpr/gauge
Motorola 2.5 bar map sensor
Neukin half size radiator and slim fan
Boost/oil pressure gauge (whatever I can find a quality deal on)
Maybe ARP headstuds
Still gotta try to figure out what turbo I want.
Any thoughts? I'm planning on running this setup on a stock ls motor while in the mean time I'm going to start an lsv turbo full build. Also lmk if you have any parts for sale that I need.
Only pic I have right now....plenty more to come hopefully. Just trying to mock up the intercooler to see if and how much I am going to have to cut the bumper support. Also began the wire tuck with the driver side headlight harness. This side will be pretty easy. The only other things tied into that harness was power steering, cruise control, wiper fluid motors, and wheel speed sensor...which all of those I have deleted anyway except for the wheel speed sensor making this a very easy harness to reroute. There are a few more pigtails up close to the firewall that plug into some more important stuff (not quite sure what though) but they reach just fine. I shouldn't have to extend anything really either as the route through the fender is much shorter than the factory route of around the strut tower.

I realize that this is an old thread, but it's a build thread so they get
updated over several years. Do you still have the car? I was wondering
about updates. Do you have some pics for us?-Bob
