Default B18B1 breaks up at 5000 RPMS...

Ok I have a B18B1 out of a 9691 LS and it is in a 2000DVD Civic Ex. The other day I had to replace the distributor. After replacing the distributor it ran fine for about two days. And then it started breaking up real bad at 5000 Rpm's. I have ran it with two different ECUs and it does the same thing with both. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

It has an aftermarket fuel pump in it, was in the civic when I bought it but I have an integra fuel pump so I will swap them out and see if that fixes it. Thanks and I will post again after I have done it.

If the only thing you changed was the dizzy I would check that out. Make sure the rotor didnt come loose.

Ok. I checked all the boltsup to make sure it was tight and it was. I will check the rotor button though. This is so frustrating

Check ur plug gap. And put the right pump in the car, its prob running lean(not enough gas). Also put a fuel gauge in the carso u can see the fuel pressure all the time.
