i got a problem with my 1jz at around 4k it just sputters and breaks up right when it goes to built boost
heres what i have done so far
new coil packs
new spark plugs
new coil pack connectors
replace one of the two cam sensor pins that were no good
checked inside ecu for burnt capacitors
took out plugs and cleaned them they were gaped at .30 i put the to .28

and i am getting code 12 which correct me if i am wrong is either rshared_pm signal or knock sensor

and about the ecu is a HKS ecu

the car wont rev past 4-4500k rshared_pm at idle and under load when driving

does any body have any suggestions that can help me out it would be greatly appreciated thank you

 

Check all your intercooler pipe connections and make sure there isn't a loose pipe someplace. Reset the ECU buy unplugging the battery for a few seconds. Lastly, make sure you don't have any vacuum hoses that may have popped off.

 

check to make sure you arent getting fuel cut, getting low fuel pressure, or running out of injector

 

ok thanks alot i am gonna check fuel pressure and see wat i got

 

so free reving it wont go past 4k? try an ignitor

 

yea i wont rev pass 4 to 4500 rshared_pm at all you can look and it will just stay at 4k and just sputter and break up at idle and under load

 

i'd check these... in order..
1. CHECK YOUR GROUNDS!!!!
2. ignitor
4. map sensor
4. cam angle sensor.

and i have no faith in modded ecu's unless they came with your motor.

 

what was your problem? was it resolved
