4th gen prelude timeline/build
holy shit thats weird. is your exhaust leak before or behind the o2 sensor? that could very well be throwing it off it its before.

And I told him the same thing last thursday. If its pulling in fresh air into the exhuast system before the 02 sensor it thinks the air/fuel mix is off then it goes into limp mode.
He also said his IACV valve is bypassed. Which is odd because the car will not idle with out that unless the throttle plate is adjusted to compensate for that (which I doubt it is.) I dont know why you would bypass the IACV in the first place.
Check, TPS, Water temp sensor, map sensor and knock sensor. All those things could have an effect on how the it runs. If any of those are not working the ECU is going to pull timing like a mother fucker and since you dont have a IACV its not going to run at all unless your foot is on the throttle.

yea... i dont know who or why the iacv was bypassed.
the bung on the test pipe was the exhaust leak and it is behind the o2 sensor by about 12" or more. but that bung is plugged now so it cant be that...
i will hook the iacv back up to the thermo idle thing and hopefully that helps...
