ive looked at hondata and wasnt to impressed evan wants lights and bells and whistles !!! i would have changed alot of shit in this steup but not all my choice !! im justthe mechanic !!!!

 

once AGAIN NOT MY DESICION !!! lol god guys i cant compare the two because ive never seen the hondata system. so i honestly do not know !!! but from what ive read and what ive heard both seem good ! Evan wants the stupid ass LCD and shiat and he wants to stay Greddy he likes using stupid ass name brands !!!

 

the Emanage set up isnt a piggy back, per se. but its not a standalone... it uses the stock ECU for all the mundane and hard to program functions and then takes over when the ECU cant handle shit, like the option MAP sensor, the AFM correction, the Injector DC tunability, the ignition timing altering system, etc. theres datalogging and real time display, etc. its the shit, trust me.

oh yea and you can mess w/ your VTECH change overs too. its pretty cool shit.

but, im in the same boat as you are. ive never dealt w/ the Hondata or know anything about it so i couldnt really make any valid comparisons, all i can tell you is what the G-unit has.

 

I have seen Hondata on 500+whp cars and they idled just like a Honda should. I would like to see the same come from the E-Manage. Not to mention if I wanted a little "LCD" I would buy a laptop and datalog with Hondata.
