Not to pop in late or anything. but quick related question. Does the E manage convert mass systems to map? similar to the VPC

TurboJ; No, it doesnt. The MAP sensor and harness only allows you to continue metering the air after your stock MAS/AFM is over run.

Like the Karmann Vortex meter on the DSM starts to lose counts @ 2100Hz, so above that level is where the Emanage Map sensor would pick up the count and continue metering the air... it wont allow you to ditch the stock metering system and run MAP based system.

so guys like John Lunsford who have run 600 HP on the Lex meter could go even further now and dont even need to run a VPC. they can get VPC HP-levels for a fraction of the price, and have 16x16 fuel map tune-ability and be more precise than just a freaking "Gain" knob and whatever else ghetto-ass knobs are on the VPC.

Sounds like this guy is falling into the trap i did... I think part of the hammer's curse is that I didnt earn it.. (gaining the money in the stock market and paying someone else the money to do it was bad karma)

It was a bad lustful car for me to buy... and it caused me grief to this day as well as 30K

I didn't really fall into the trap as far as money goes. I just have the ability to do something that I have always wanted to do, I don't pay for the mechanic people decide that they want to help.
I would rather do the work myself and learn rather than pay somebody to do it......Anyways I have friends and they help with some fot eh technical stuff. Other than that is all they are their for.

You know what I am not here to debate, think what you will. Thats fine with me, I have parents who care about me and who are willing to help me out. As for the mechanic part I admit that I am not a mechanic, but I do know how to read and learn and I do ask help from my friends who are willing to help. Don't hate because your parents are willing to help you and they don't love
you!!
