One of the bigger thing to look for, especially in a HUGE front mount, is efficiency. Chances are, bigger intercooler = more pressure drop. That is given your piping is right, and your couplers are tighter than a virgin in prom night.

when u add more space u get a pressure drop. u could also be losing pressure if u didnt hook it up right. check all the hoses and clamps to make sure. how much bigger is ur new IC?

Just adjust your boost controller to make up for the pressure difference and all will be well.

but the longer you make the vacuum line, the less responsive the wastegate will become.

don't exceed 3 feet on that line. if you go over 3 feet, you may as well adjust the wastegate instead to be more reliable.
