May be assembled by turbonetics but sure as hell looks like a Garrett to me.
The only thing I dont like about that setup is its not water cooled which shortens the life of the turbo dramatically in a street driven car. I talked with Dave for a while on this topic and he said you can get by with a oil cooled only but highly recomended using water/oil if you have the hookups. His thoughts were if you make it a race car ditch the water lines because your runs are very short and makes installation and removal much easier.

BTW had a Mustang shop owner tell me that it was impossible to calculate the compression ratio of a turbo engine since it was dynamic and based on too many varibles. Oh and he said that a larger turbo always makes more power... Granted hes got some ponies down in the 9s (that Ive seen) and even high 8s (from what Ive been told) but this grasp of turbo theory was dismal at best...and he was talking to a group of V8 fans like he was Gods own turbo mechanic.
BTW the combo he is setting up is 9.5:1 with 21psi...sounds like a 23.7:1 CR to me...but what do DSMers know about forced induction?

I can personally say I am a person that will never got to Charlie again. I have an mr2 turbo and I wanted a custom 3 exhaust made for me it took hime 4 weeks of me hounding him before he set a date for me to have the work done. And then when I get there he tells me it will be done in 3 hours I leave my car there at 9:15 am call him back at 2:-2:30 and he says give him anoth 2 hours so I say ok i understand go there at 5:30 and he still isnt done It looked like he hadnt even touched it. I cut my Bpipe to the exhaust and thats it. He then tells me to come at 8 and it will be finished at this time I start to get a little pist so I say fine. Come back at 8:30 to find out he doesnt have enough bends to make it. Its friday at 8:30 I have no muffler and have a Bpipe coming out of my car. He says he cant get a new bends until tuesday. So I say WTF!!!! Why couldnt he have checked on this earlier. So I was utterly in aww I so screw it just give me my car and Ill get a new exhaust. It took him close to 12 hours to cut my Bpipe and take the muffler off the car. I know he does good work and all but customer service is much to be desired.
Sorry for the long post but somebody this weekend said I didnt post enough.
Thanks
