Volvo Intercooler

The turbo ford guys routinely run 24psi, and while not an everyday occurance, there have been quite a few that have popped. Considering if it does pop its unrepairable junk, its just not worth it to purchase one to me. The NPR intercoolers are a much better purchase to me.
boost is irrelavent because a turbo mustang is flowing a fuckload more air than any volvo turbo is, and what seems to be a huge problem with the intercooler is the plastic ends, AGE, and heat. they tend to grow weak from heat and age and tend to crack. they may serve thier purpose in the volvo, but i wouldnt transplant one into another car

Either way, volume doesn't kill the intercooler, pressure does, and pressure is boost.
dude 24psi from a t66 does is not the same as 24psi from a t25!!
yes pressure wise they make the same but efficency and heat from a t25 will kill a plastic ended intercooler faster than non super compressed air from a gt35 understand what i mean?
