plx gauge vs. cosmetics
ok not really a big tech question but wanted some opinions. since I found out from hondata that the aem wideband uego is not compatible with the hondata system I will be running a plx m300. I like the gauge style display of the aem, but just saw on the plx a new gauge style read-out... or a converter for a narrowband gauge.
here's the question. I have the autometer cobalt series egt and fuel pressure gauge, and the wideband will sit next to these 2 on my dash. I can either use this

with the cobalt gauge
or this

with the black face gauge.
I like the fact that the plx gauge shows the needle sweep and the exact o2 not just the needle sweep like the cobalt, however I don't know if while driving I will use the exact readout or not. The only pro to the cobalt is it's an exact match to the other gauges, and the plx main unit can be put in the glove boc so that it is fairly accesible to view the direct readout.
what's your opinion??? cobalt for the perfect match or plx ( in black ) for a close match and the best functionality??

You definitely want the exact readout. I have been using the PLX 4 digit display box for a while now, and its an excellent system. If you must have a round gauge, go with the one that has the readout as well. You will find yourself looking at the numbers anyway, and not the sweep.

I saw that one and its an awsome deal, but since I am running hondata I don't need to o2 to datalog. also I need the display to fit cosmetically with the rest of the car. I am not going full race, but not full rice.... i mean full show, either. I want the best of both. and the plx is tested and used with hondata so no compatibility issues.
