Turbo suggestions for a friend (mr2)
I'm also just under the mindset that judging his goals, that a T3/T4 -50 trim has A: more lag than the S15. and B: The bonus of the T3/T4 vs S15 is more top end flow, which he dosent need as his final goal is 300whp.
I asked this guy over and over if he wanted to make more power in a year, or 2 years.. cause then he'd be better off with a larger turbo. His response is that this car is a Daily Driver "test" to see if he can build a fun and reliable car, and the next car is going to be the total badass.

Also, if you didn't care about top flow very much you could always get a .48 a/r on the exhaust side. It will choke the fuck out of that turbo's top end, but will still make 300hp. The good thing there is the lack of lag. Expect 2200-2800 full boost.
