TUNE TUNE TUNE... too many people dnot understand the importance of tuning for a street motor w/ less-than-bullitproof internals... or blocks for that matter.

If you are running the power you claim, youare maxing out those 450's and should step up a notch and get some 550's or so. For what you are going for, i dont think simple piggy backs will cut it... you will most likely need a stand alone and even more Dynotime. but once you pull that off, youll be sittin in butter.

8.5:1 for the street is great. 9.0 is getting kind of high, and its really gonna start to limit the amount of boost you can run. Static compression ratio PwnZ joo... thats why bolt on turbo kits can only run a girly 6 psi... 8.5:1 compression is great for a forced induction setup and thats all the higher id go.. especially when the turbos that make real power dont start cookin till at LEAST 14 psi... and get real Grisly around 21 psi...

but like we all said: Standalone is gonna be the way to go w/ the HP numbers you are shooting for. Piggy backs, 440s, and FMU's are all find and dandy for bolt-on kits for turn-key applications... but when you are getting serious like you are... you are gonna need some comprehensive tunability, like the kind that standalone's offer. If you hold off on other bolt-ons and go for the tuning accesories, you can wring some more power w/ fine tuning, or you can raise the boost even more and make the most otu of what you have now.

I gotta agree that much power and so little boost. BS If this is true and you got that much power, sell that setup and make some money or trade me for my merk....LOL Also what kind of dyno was this done on? Mustang, G-tach, or ass o meter? BTW anyone that uses a Street dyno, be aware that if you hit a bump and your hp goes from 98 to 310 that means you have about 100 hp not 310. It was the G-forces from the bump that caused that number!!!

I have to disagree. Honda's with 8.5:1 compression ratio is too low. 9.2:1 - 9.8:1 is perfect for Honda's.

this car was dynod prior at inline pro, in virginia before the motr was redone AGAIN! it has already seen a little more than that with a 75 shot wet kit on it. off a 75 shot i gained over 100hp, dont know why, maybe it was the right mixture of gas and air. im not too worried cause its just a bottom end as long as i dont damage the head. the second time which was the 304hp was on a regular dyno jet, in north carolina. i used as much ice as i could possible use about 200mph worth of air J/K. but as we know tuning on the dynojet, yeilded the worst street drivabilty i have ever seen.

most of you know 96modGT on here, we are good friends, and he says my turbo civic would deffinetley pull his mustang.
