after pulling them apart and replacing the tubes they do work. well 3 out of 4 that busted do. one's dead.

but the wireless sensors took a beating too so their spread is lower still a good range but they have to be aimed just right (cock body point towards camera etc)

The real question is this: did you manage to avoid bending the copper prongs that the flash uses to detect which zoom position it's at? If so, you're a better flash-repairer than I. My repaired 600 is fine 90% of the time but it goes crazy every now and then.
