well i bought it knowing it has issues, the guy dropped it in a pool. he had a tokina 100 2.8 on it when he dropped it, i figured if one part of the combo works it'd be a great buy.

the camera powers up but does nothing.
the 100 2.8 has water in it but works... kinda but not really, it's pretty much trashed.

i'm dropping it at a buds shop in charlotte, nc in a few days and let him take a crack at repairing it.


moral of the story sounds too good to be true = too good to be true (so far)


but if it's all trashed them i'm thinking about dropping it during rolling shots, off the boat, let someone push me in a pool at a party, etc.

We used to do this with display cell phones back in the day! But this would be quite a bit more of a shock factor and would love to take part in it haha

 

just got word body is trashed lens is good. so all and all good buy for me! also i didn't notice but there was a 16 gig class 10 in the body that biggs said is in working order.... so who's got a trashed lens for a big "oups".... at the same time he said he'd give me a used sb600 for the body bc he could use the few good parts to repair some damaged ones and i think ya can never have too many strobes

 

Small suction cup mount and hot shoe bubble level just came in.

 

About time jeez, you have been waiting for almost a month.
