I wouldn't of spent that much if it wasn't for the fact that it was sitting in my bookstore account at school and either I spend it or loose it. Well it goes back to the school and they can kiss my ass....so I spent it lol

I wouldn't of paid that out of pocket...hell no! That's $350 more towards a 70-200 f/2.8

I have the Wacom Bamboo pen and I am satisfied with it. I have used previous versions but to me this one is more comfortable and while it doesn't have the shortcut buttons I still find it more comfortable for me. I love my tablet!

I just switched mine out for the pen only version, hopefully this one runs a little smoother then the other. Plus with the money I got back I can get a seriously needed dvdrw drive for my computer lol.

I'm using a 2.61 GHz quad core AMD w/ 2 gigs of DDR2 and on-board ATI Radeon 4200 gfx. I've been thinking about getting another gig of ram but any more then that and it would be wasted since I'm only running WinXP 32bit.

Oh wow, you have a great processor but lacking in the ram dept. I would invest in correcting that before anything else. more ram and either XP 64 bit or windows 7

I heard there are a few compatibility issues with winxp 64 bit but I'd love to give Windows 7 a try, and I'm also thinking about getting a dedicated video card so the on-board one wont use up my ram. Oh and maybe a slight overclock on the cpu but I'll have to do some research on that before I mess around with it haha.

Adding a video card would be a great start to freeing up some ram. Windows can also be adjusted for better performance but it would looks as good.
I dont think you need to overclock your already great cpu. Then you will have to start spending $$ and better cooling that would be better spent on ram,V-card or another OS.

I'm running 16 GB of ram on Windows 7 64 bit with great performance. PS CS5 64bit runs like a dream.
