Just bought a bag and UV filter. Will be doing some traveling soon, thus I figured a nice bag would be helpful.

My next purchases would be, in no specific order, a tripod and 1.8 50mm lens.
(Ignore the mess and my ghetto rigged TV stand/trunk)

What was wrong with it?

Remember I told you the Qray was not working? Well not so much anymore lol Some times the batteries need to be shoved down a little more and that's all it was.

I ordered my Tokina-11-16MM today off amazon, I'm not sure if it'll work with my 5D, I didn't check when I bought it, it'll be shame if it'll only work with my 7D.

Next on my list of lenses is the 70-200 2.8, looks fairly cheap on B&H or I could pick it up used on ebay for 900ish.

I read somewhere it might work at 15-16mm but at 11-14mm heavy vignetting on a 5D. It's better suited to go on a 7D. Here are some links to see what it will look like on a 5D:

I know its a bit off subject but what wider lens would work, I think I need to look for a full frame lens, using that on the 5D would be pointless, might as well use my 16-35 for that matter.

If you want to go as wide or wider than 16-35 with zoom lenses there isn't much to choose from. You might have to look at some primes or some non-canon lenses.

When I get back home today from todays shoot I'll look into some fast primes that aren't fish eye.
