Tail of the Dragon Nissan/240sx Run
Sad but true.
That acccounts for the small number of them wanting to do any sort of road touring. Be it a Dragon Run or a Midnight Run.
Often is the case where they do not what to be exposed as the cheap bastard or learn what they did wrong in the build. Its easier to drive 5 miles to a parking lot, pose by your car, then drive home.
This drive could be a chance to make some good connections and friends. It also is a chance to learn more about your car, its strenghts and weaknesses.

Heh, unfortunately all I had was a GOPRO to shoot with...forgot my regular camera.
It was taken on 71 south of the 441 near the TN/NC border. Unfortunately the better part of that road (at the top of the mountain) was closed due to it washing away...lol. I was able to drive alot of other good roads though. From 71 south we (GF and I) went back to 73 which runs east/west towards the Smoky Mountains National Park. I noticed there was a 4x4 trail at the back of the park, which leads directly to 129S (the dragon) .. So we went through the whole scenic loop thing, which was awesome. Got to the "4x4 only" off-road section which was closed for the winter. I cut around the gate and tried to cut through, hahah, we made it about a mile before another closed gate which was too hard to bypass. So had to turn around and backtrack a good hour...it was worth it though. Then we just headed down the 321 I think to 129 south, then taking rural highways all the way back to 575S in GA. That was a quite enjoyable 12hr, 300 mile drive.
Here are a couple more pics.

Sigh...nothing compares to the roads there. We can go out and search until the cows come home and never find drives like that in FL. Looking forward to May...

I'm currently shooting for the last week of May. Work obligations have made it necesssary to push it back some. More interest will help firm up dates. I just cant get away any sooner than that.
Chime in with dates that work well for you ad e'll discuss from there.
