Default ecu question. M/T vs A/T w/ enthalpy

Can't believe that no one on ka-t has answered this question yet. Maybe someone here will?

I know that either ECU can be tuned. Question is though, can a tune that was originally done on either or be transfered over to the opposite w/o complications?

I've tried talking w/ Martin but he's not responding. I had one conversation w/ Epstein but he hasn't been back on since then.

If I need to explain more, please inquire.

Thanks for reading.

Doesn't make a difference. They use the same boards as far as I know. The daughter board is what reads the rom chip.

I figured that it all boiled down to the daughter board. I just wasn't positive if something wouldn't compute.

Thank you sir.

To those that might be curious...

Talked w/ Martin today. He said that the Enthalpy tune is mainly setup towards the M/T when it comes to the KAs. One can run either ECU because when running the auto ECU, the program is designed to do away w/ what ever codes may be thrown in error.

Hope this makes sense.
