Default Power steering question

Is it ok to run an na fitting directly from the pump instead of the banjo bolt on the high pressure line? I have a braided line that was intended for the power steering system, but I just did an rb25 swap and don't have the black piece that the banjo bolt goes thru that directs the line backwards. I'm not sure what its called or if rb25's come with them factory but I've seen people mod the ka ones fit by drilling the whole bigger to fit the larger banjo bolt

the piece I'm talking about can be seen here but it's on a ka pump modded to fit an rb25 which id like to avoid having to buy a new pump yada yada

I dont see why not. On my last car I had a fitting there with a soft line that Amazon made me. Worked fine for 20k miles.

the factory uses that style to keep the line from kinking back one way or another. basically allows you to turn a 90* angle and point the line the way you want it to go without having to have a long enough line for a "gentle bend"
since we aren't talking factory, and we're talking more function over form, then there isn't really any reason why you couldn't do exactly what you're saying.
I'd try to put a little effort into not letting the line just bounce all over the place by supporting it somehow, but beyond that, do eet!

Ill try and support it somewhere or have it fastened to something instead of letting it do as it pleases Haha. Looks like my link didn't show up so the second part of my post doesn't make much sense lol. Ill do it and post some pictures of how I mount it for shits and gigs. I'm hoping my wiring is done today too

Alright, I'm buying the fitting this week lol I've been slacking (hopefully gearhead has what I need) but I had one my question before I do it. Does it need any sort of restriction like a turbo line does? I don't want to force too much fluid into my rack. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere s14 racks are on national back order. I'd rather not break mine lol.
